To protect and preserve open space and agricultural resources

Action Alert!

At the urging of the County Board of Supervisors and Board Chair Linda Parks,
the city councils of Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley and Moorpark are
meeting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10 at the Reagan Library
to discuss strengthening the
Tierra Rejada Greenbelt Agreement.
This will be the first time all three city councils have met together.

Tierra Rejada is an agricultural and greenbelt area as well as an important wildlife corridor between the three cities. Like many open space areas between our cities, it is being threatened by large-lot parcelization, ranchette development, and rural sprawl that fragments and erodes working farmlands and natural habitats.

We encourage SOAR members to attend this public meeting and voice support during public comments for strengthening the Tierra Rejada Greenbelt Agreement.

Protect this important open space and agricultural resource!

businesses like his, which covers 40 acres, out of the area.
