The SOAR Trail Run is a certified 5k and 10k, all-dirt course through the scenic walnut, avocado and orange groves, celebrating open space and agriculture in Ventura County. Proceeds support SOAR, a local organization dedicated to making Ventura County a better place to live by limiting urban sprawl, protecting open space and agricultural lands, and promoting livable and sustainable communities.

Day of Race Onsite Registration: 7:00 am.
Start time: 10k 8:00 am., 5k 8:30 am.
Provisions: Water and refreshments will be provided.

Event Start Location Directions:
Exit Hwy 23 at Tierra Rejada. Go west one block. Turn left on Sunset Valley Rd. Turn left through the Underwood Family Farm center parking lot and follow the signs for the Walnut Grove parking.

Awards:
Eight age categories from under-13 through over 70. Race prizes will be awarded in each category and for overall men's and women's runners for 5K and 10K. Registration includes a raffle drawing ticket and a limited edition tote bag made from recycled materials. T-Shirts will be available for purchase at the race.

Timing/Results:
Each participant will be professionally timed.

Patagonia is excited to announce the 21st Annual Salmon Run. The Salmon Run is the second race in the SOAR Trail Running Series, comprised of 4 great off-road trail runs dedicated to raising awareness of SOAR's dedication to stopping urban sprawl in Ventura County.

A portion of the proceeds from each of the races will go directly to support SOAR's work. By participating in 4 out of 4 of the following runs, you will receive a SOAR Trail Run Series award, presented at the final run in the series.

The Aloha Turkey Roundup is a benefit for the Ventura Hillsides Conservancy. (The Ventura Hillsides Conservancy is a land trust operating in the Ventura region to protect and conserve open space resources through acquisition of land and easements, stewardship of protected lands, and public education about local natural resources.) The Aloha Turkey Roundup features a T-shirt, raffle ticket & pancake breakfast included.

In the event of heavy rain we are not able to reschedule - a modified rain course will be run on grass and roads in the park. Check Inside Track Multisport Facebook for any last minute information.
